Advisements are everywhere! It is hard to go outside and not see and ad, on the tv, posters and even shopping. It is important to understand who and why certain companies are targeting for the product. Advertisement celebrity sponsors can influence the youth and the consumer, but I argue that it does not have any intrinsic value to individuals or society. Company does have the right to first amendment since it is made up of people and the company has the freedom of speech. It is key to remember that certain groups are protected. The company has the ethically responsible and should disclose harmful outcome if the consumer used the product. This could develop an addition or developing an illness due to the product.

Some advisements are marked to children that could lead them to harmful habits. Some ads are targeting youths and inspiriting them to using a potentially harmful product is cool. The past generation was cigarettes being targeted to the youths in movies, tv shows. Children were told that smoking makes you “cool”. There was no discloser to the children that the harmful negative effect that are a result after smoking for years. The harm the cigarettes due to the body and it even leads to cancer. Today children are being bombard by ads on social media. These ads tell children they are not good enough and the newest product to be more appealing, this could mean lipstick to make the lips bigger. The new smoking cigarettes in Vaping. The Food and Drug Administration banned the sale of Juul e-cigarettes in the U.S. The FDA states that the Julee evidence and research showing the chemical data is insufficient and can leads to potential risks of using Vaping. It is important that companies are checked by the government and holding the company to an ethical standard. Children are the main the main target audience for Juule and college kids. Due to the low smoke clouds are not detectable by smoke alarms making it easy for children to not get caught. This product can be shown to cause issues with the lungs and develop illness. The FDA has the power to band protect that are seen as harmful to the customer especially targeting to protected classes like children.

Company needs to disclose the harmful outcome of using to better inform the customer. The customer needs to have the knowledge to be able to make the choice to take the risk to consume the product. Information is key and it is important to understand that certain groups should not be marketed. The government. should be able to check business and keep they accountable to the people and the shareholders Companies owe the public a discloser and inform the public of the risks especially if it causes harm.
